Ingredients for veg cheese grilled sandwich recipe

  • Three boiled potatoes 
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp chat masala
  • 1/2 tsp jeera powder 
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Sandwich bread slices
  • Butter 50 gms
  • Green Chutney 
  • 1/4 cup Tandoori Mayonnaise 
  • 1 Cucumber sliced
  • 2 tbsp Chat masala
  • Two medium onion sliced
  • One big Tomato sliced
  • One small Capsicum sliced
  • cheese 200 gms

Method to cook veg cheese grilled sandwich:

  • Firstly take three boiled potatoes in a bowl and mash them properly.

  • Then add salt to taste, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp chat masala, 1/2 tsp jeera powder, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper powder give everything a good mix.

  • Take the three sandwich bread slices and apply butter evenly on two pieces and green chutney on the third slice.

  • Now spread the potato masala evenly on the bread slice that has chutney applied to it.

  • Then spread grated cheese on it and cover it with another bread slice. On this bread slice, apply tandoori mayonnaise.

  • Now put some sliced cucumber after the mayonnaise and sprinkle some chat masala on it. You can also replace chat masala with oregano or mixed herbs.

  • Then put a layer of thin-sliced onions, tomatoes and again sprinkle some chat masala or your favourite herbs.

  • Finally, add some sliced capsicum and another layer of grated cheese to it.

  • Now cover it with the third bread slice and press it so that all the slices get stick with each other.

  • Use a sandwich griller and put some amount of butter on it. You can even spread the melted butter on the griller.

  • Now place the sandwich on a griller and cook it for upto 4-5 minute till it gets crispy from the outside and the cheese gets melt properly.

  • Take out the sandwich from the griller and cut it in half to serve with tomato ketchup.
