Ingredients For Oats Upma Recipe:


½ cup Oats

2½ cups Water

2 tbsp. Green Peas

1 Carrot, finely chopped

1 tsp. Mustard seeds

1 tbsp. Urad Dal (White Lentil)

Curry leaves

1 Green Chilli, roughly chopped

½ tsp. Asafoetida

1 tbsp. Cashew nuts

1 Onion, finely chopped

½ cup Semolina

2 tbsp. Beaten curd

Salt, to taste

Lemon juice

Sugar (optional)

½ cup Freshly Grated Coconut (optional)

Coriander leave



Method to cook Oats Upma:


1. Firstly, grind the oats and make a powder out of it.

2. Then roast it till it changes its colour and then transfers it into a plate to let it cool.

3. Now take a pan, add some water to boil it, put Matar (peas), and carrot in it.

4. Take another pan and add some oil in it.

5. Add mustard seed (Sarson), white urad dal, curry putta, green chilli, heeng, Kaju (cashew), onion and roast it till the onion softens. 

6. Now add some suji and roast it for a few minutes.

7. Add roasted oats, boiled vegetables, water and keep stirring it.

8. Once the upma gets thick enough, put beaten curd, nimbu ka ras, salt to taste, sugar, coconut powder and dhania patta in it.

2. Oats Chilla Recipe

Ingredients For Oats Chilla Recipe:


1/2 cup oats, roasted

1/2 cup semolina or Rava

1 tsp mustard seeds

1 tsp ghee

1/4 tsp hing

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1/4 tsp red chilli powder

1/2 tsp coriander

One green chilli chopped

2-3 tbsp curd

1/2 cup grated ash gourd 

Juice of half a lime

1/2 cup spinach chopped

One garlic, grated

Few curry leaves 

Salt to taste



Method to cook oats chilla:


  • Take a pan and put one spoon ghee in it, add raee, curry leave, heeng, half cup of suji and roast it for 2 minutes.
  • Once it gets roasted and changes its colour, put a half cup of oats powder and roast it.
  •  Now turn the flame off and keep it aside in a plate.
  • Add two spoons of besan, red chilli powder, haldi powder, jeera powder, dhania powder, two chopped green chilli, chopped garlic, salt to taste and roast everything.
  • Now add a half cup of chopped carrot, chopped palak, chopped lauki, half cup of curd (dahi), and required water to make a thick paste.
  • Take a pan and add some ghee in it, put a portion of a thick paste and spread it around the pan.
  • Cook this paste on low flame till it gets perfectly cooked and changes its colour to a golden brown.
  • Now apply the ghee on the upper side and switch the side to get it cooked.

3. Oats Pancakes Recipe

Ingredients For Oats Pancakes Recipe:


1 cup milk

1 Spoon nimbu ka ras

2 Spoon of ghee

1 cup wheat flour

1 Cup Dalia

1 Spoon baking powder

½ Spoon baking soda

2 Spoon brown sugar

A pinch of salt



Method to cook oats pancakes:


- Take a bowl and put milk and a spoon of nimbu ka ras in it. This mixture will help enhance the cooking of pancakes.

- In another bowl, put all dry ingredients like wheat flour, daliya, baking powder, baking soda, brown sugar, a pinch of salt and mix everything and keep aside. 

- Add ghee in the milk mixture and put it in the bowl containing dry ingredients and make a fine paste. Use extra milk or water if required to maintain the thickness of the paste.

- Take a non-stick pan on medium heat and add some ghee on it. Now take a portion of a thick paste and spread it throughout the pan.

- Keep cooking it till you see the bubbles on the pancake. Switch the side of the pancake and cook it till it changes colour.

- Use sugar syrup, maple syrup, whipped cream to garnish pancakes and serve it.

4. Masala Oats Recipe

Ingredients For Masala Oats Recipe:


2 cups rolled oats

2 Spoon Oil

1 Spoon jeera

2 Chopped green chilli

1 Chopped onion

1 Chopped Tomato

Salt to taste

1 Spoon red chilli powder

1 Spoon haldi powder

2 Spoon chopped dhania patta



Method to cook masala oats:


1. Take a non-stick pan and add oil in it, add some jeera and roast it.

2. Put chopped green chilli and onion, then cook it till it turns golden.

3. Add tomato and salt to taste in it, then cover the pan with the lid and let it cook for next 2-3 minutes.

4. Put red chilli powder and haldi powder in it and mix it well.

5. Now add rolled oats, 4 cup water, and cook it for another 5 minutes.

6. Finally garnish it with dhania patta and your masala oats is ready to serve.

5. Oats Cookies Recipe

Ingredients For Oats Cookies Recipe:


1 cup maida flour

1 cup butter

1 cup brown sugar

1 Spoon baking powder

2 Spoon honey

¼ Spoon baking soda

1 Spoon vanilla 

50 gm kishmish

50 gm choco chips



Method to cook oats cookies:


- Take a bowl, add butter, brown sugar, honey and mix it.

- Now put maida, honey, and mix it with butter.

- Put choco chips, kishmish (raisins), instant oats and mix everything.

- Now take some portion of the mixture and place it on the baking tray in the shape of a cookie.

- Repeat the step for the rest of the mixture.

- Bake these cookies for next 10 minutes at a 170-degree temperature in the oven.

- Once cookies get baked, keep it aside to cool down.

- Your oats cookies are ready to serve with tea or coffee.
